A complete
washout beginning overnight and continuing through the afternoon. Gusty winds make for horizontal rain and
cooler temps make for a cocktail of illness.
There’s just no way you can trek in this muck. Back to sleep. It’s more of a bummer being ill than not
being able to get on the trail and when the two smack, it’s double bummer.
And now I am
getting ready to go with Maya and the children and who knows who else to her
parent’s home for the beginning of the Teej Festival, which coincides with
Nepal’s new month. I am guessing this
will be the last time I’ll write on this day so let’s hope some photos
come. And when I have recuperated a
capsule of a day below Naudana.
After 40 minutes the taxi let us out in Daudana and immediately we proceed down. "See that cloud? An excitable ten year old asks me pointing to the one at the bottom of the valley. "We go there"
At the homestead
Ramesh leads the way out of the valley
Sara-Choura Valley (or something like that)
