the new whig party

“This means that the galaxy was around just 400 million years after the Big Bang — no time at all, in cosmic terms — to a period that is 97 percent of the way to the universe’s very beginnings.”

There’s nothing to suggest that when Hubble reaches the beginning of our theoretical big bang beginnings that something else really big will inevitably occur.  Nothing works like that, right?  It's my own naturally incorrect speculation.

Of course some are saying if you've gone back to the beginning, we will also be going to the future, to the beginning of the end, the expanding-contracting phenomena, right?  All things being equal, ya know?  Occum’s Razor, right?  The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. Ok, they are simply observations.

8:21pm

Listening to this Kundun soundtrack every day keeps me thinking about nothing in particular other than the anniversary of the uprising and this god’s flight to India is coming up and the current state of American politics, a frightening and yet fascinating test for democracy.  A return it is to the end of the Whig party and the birth of the Republican party, now we are seeing a new kind of ugly birth, the party of the new Whigs all pun intended from the crumbling and crawling wheezing carcass that hasn't been grand in a long time but it is certainly the old party what becomes of the small elite r-republican red coats who will survive along with their one percenters and become a beacon of their minority own on a new small hill top.  As far away as possible.

I think what I see from the deserts of central Asia are the New Whig Party (NWP), the Socialist-Democrat Party (SDP) and a religiously reformed republican something in gated communities and private islands, we gotta work on a name for them...

Trump supporters, the dark shadow of the Republican party have overshadowed their Frankenstein and it makes me wonder a few things.  First, some tea.

I finally got my haircut ah, what a relief and the young fella with a tattoo above his thumb did a good job not cutting it jarhead like, and I got a nice massage though it was more of a deep scratch kind of massage up and down the spine his ten fingers dragged and it felt nice though it reminded me this kind of scratching should come from a woman.

Anyways, one job done, next, the bank.

I sucked hard and a red hot ball of ash-hash blasted off the back of my throat and ten hours later it still hurts, this charred hole.  You’re really not too bright, are you sometimes.  Sometimes.

3.6.16

I got to the bank today and finally received my debit card, eight months to get this little thing and I hope we never need to use it.  The boss and the Balosh and I went afterwards to a restaurant outside the Karzai comfort zone and ate perhaps the best leg of lamb ever.  And it would have been better if it weren’t for broken teeth spoiling the pleasure of the really savory.

And the home office says I can travel to Kabul without my passport and pick it up at the university, oh, I’m gonna go a day early, ok, fine, and see some people I haven’t seen since August and talk about things like am I finishing up my year right where I am or in the capital, my feelings are irrelevant now, either way it’s two months of work, Ramadan and who knows what the hell what for two more months.

Anyways, now I can begin to plan a little better.  What the blazes am I going to do in this place?  Let’s do some reading on them Orthodox folks.

I have the fbi form I have to fingerprint myself with.  What kind of ink works best?  Maybe if I color my fingertips with black whiteboard marker, will that work? Lord, there has to be a better way.

9:03pm

I have the final episode left to watch of season two House of Cards and I don’t think I’ll go for season three any time soon.  Frank and Claire are evil and to think how many politicians are like them ya, here’s a reason to vote for an anti-establishment yo-yo from the new Whig party.  Power is corrupt but ambition comes first, why do you lust for power?  Who you talking too?

Things are slowly coming together, albeit it’s slow in coming, I have to depend on a few people to help me with travel arrangements, there’s no way around that and for the most part it’s alright but I just like to be better informed, like more than a few hours in advance if for example you’re gonna ask me to give a presentation to a room of 60 people on the merits of learning English.  Right now the only reason to learn the language is to get out, I couldn’t tell them that though it’s a cold hard reality, what good is English in a country when the Taliban refuse to talk peace as long as there are foreigners here, I’ve raised the issue with a few, historically Afghans don’t like foreigners living here at all because they always bring conflict, true, but they always leave or die, the graveyard of Empires you are.

But think of the future if it is remotely possible: traveling, vacationing and then leaving, Pashtuns!  Make a deal and find a compromise.  Yes, a lot of shit comes from the west, a result of liberty and freedom but not much common sense, keep the fast food restaurants out, keep big hotel chains out, keep anything that is physically unhealthy out, but let the world see your country, God's country! Ya’ll can manage that and that would be a good thing.

good night
